Some people do more than just bowl. They welcome new bowlers. They answer questions. They help keep things running. They genuinely care about making league night better for everyone.
If that sounds like you, becoming a LaneTalk League Champion might be the perfect way to help your league take the next step.
As a League Champion, you’ll work with LaneTalk to help make your league available in the app — giving every bowler access to live scores, real-time standings, schedules and detailed stats throughout the season.
Game scores are automatically imported from your bowling center’s scoring system. To provide accurate league standings, schedules, and stats, someone simply needs to help keep league information such as scheduling, rules, and roster up to date in LaneTalk League Manager throughout the season.
We’ll guide you through the setup and provide support when needed.
No technical experience is required — just a willingness to help your league get the most out of LaneTalk.
Help bring the LaneTalk Leagues experience to your bowling community. Tell us a little about yourself and your league, and we’ll get back to you.
Your center must be connected to LaneTalk and use a supported scoring system. The program currently supports centers using QubicaAMF scoring systems and leagues following commonly used U.S. league formats.
We plan to expand support over time. Apply and we’ll confirm whether your center and league are compatible.
No problem. Your league can still be added to LaneTalk during an ongoing season.
If your bowling center’s LaneTalk integration has been active since the start of the current season, previously played weeks can be imported automatically once your league has been set up.
If the center’s LaneTalk integration was activated after the season started, previous scores can still be added manually, while upcoming weeks will be imported automatically going forward.
Not necessarily. You can apply if you are the league secretary or league manager, or if you have their approval to manage the league in LaneTalk.
The League Champions program does not affect the center’s regular league operations. It simply makes your league and its results available in the LaneTalk app.
Access is granted only to the specific league you have been approved to manage. You will not automatically receive access to the center’s other leagues or its regular league operations.
There is no cost for a League Champion to make an approved league and its results available to bowlers in the LaneTalk app.
However, the League Champions program does not give the bowling center access to use LaneTalk League Manager as its primary league management platform. Centers that want to manage their league operations through LaneTalk require a center license, currently priced at USD 500 per year and center.
Scores are imported automatically from the bowling center. However, the process relies on the center’s internet connection, the data received from the scoring system, and accurate schedules, rules and rosters in League Manager.
You should therefore review the results after each league session and make any necessary corrections or additions, including scores and handicap information.
Most of the work happens during the initial setup. After that, the time required depends on how frequently rosters, substitutes or other league information need to be updated.
You should also review the results after each league session to make sure everything has been imported correctly.
We’ll review your application and verify that your center, scoring system and league format are compatible.
If the program appears to be a good fit, we’ll contact you to discuss the setup and next steps.
